“I know.” He plays with her hands and fingers, entertaining himself while they cuddle.
“Good.” She smiled and tickled him a little.
Safriel giggles and chirps, little winglets coming from behind his back and covering his sides to stop the tickles.

He’s still huffy and still a bit angry he’s once again the littlest. “Okay, Mommy.” He leans over and snuggles into a hug.
She laughed softly and nuzzled him close, kissing the top of his head. ”You’re gonna be big and strong too. And I know your sisters will love you no matter what, just like I do.”
“I know.” He plays with her hands and fingers, entertaining himself while they cuddle.

“Oh.” He feels a bit putout. He thought he’d have playmates. “You have more babies like us?” Hopeful.
She giggled. “Sorry, baby, not right now. But I know Cora would still wanna play with you lots.”

He lets out something of a confused chirrup. “Why they get grown?”
“Daddy Kyo’s a different species than Mommy is so the babies grow differently than you would, sweetheart. Still, I know they’d love to spend time with you.” She nuzzled him.
“Oh.” He feels a bit putout. He thought he’d have playmates. “You have more babies like us?” Hopeful.

He giggles and cups his hands over her cheeks. “Yous so funny Mommy!”
She giggled and kissed his forehead. ”I try, baby.”
“I’m so happy. I loves it here wit yous and the babies and Kyo.”
Gabriel beamed. ”I’m glad, baby boy. I’m really glad you are, Safriel. Though your little sisters went and grew up, did you know that?” She made a slight face, giggling. ”They’re all big and stuff.”

“I’m so happy. I loves it here wit yous and the babies and Kyo.”

Safriel nods and smiles. “I’s good. Yous okay Mommy? Yous look sleepy.”
“I’m okay, baby boy. I promise.” She smiled, kissing Safriel’s nose gently.
He giggles and cups his hands over her cheeks. “Yous so funny Mommy!”

Snuffles as he watches Mommy Ga’bel sleep. She’s been really tired since the babies came and doesn’t like to leave the nest very much. Safriel curls his little body closer and wraps his arms around her waist. “Lub you Mommy.”
Gabriel woke up to Safriel’s little voice and smiled gently, holding him closer. ”Love you too, baby boy.” She murmured. ”You okay, little one?”
Safriel nods and smiles. “I’s good. Yous okay Mommy? Yous look sleepy.”
